# Sales pages

**Sales pages** is the second page of a guide's Listing group in the sidebar. A sales page is the public page buyers see before they buy: the photos, what the guide holds, reviews, the price and the checkout.

Every guide has one main page, its **Store page**, at the guide's own link. The [Sceniq Store](https://docs.sceniq.earth/listing/store.md) and your creator profile both lead to it. You can add more pages, each with its own link, for example one per channel where you share the guide, or two versions of the same page to compare.

A sales page is built and published on its own, apart from the guide. **Publish page** in the builder publishes only that page, and the guide bar's [Publish](https://docs.sceniq.earth/guide/preview-and-publish.md) never publishes a sales page. On a guide that has never been live, the guide bar shows its Publish only once the Store page is published, so the guide's link always has a page to open. Until then the bar says you need a sales page, and its words "sales page" open the Store page in the builder.

## The page list

Before the guide has a page, the list reads **No sales page yet**. **Create sales page** opens the dialog of the same name, below: the page you make there becomes the guide's store page. The guide bar's words "sales page" and the Onboarding's sales page step open that dialog too while the guide has no page.

After that the list shows one row per page: the store page first, then the others from oldest to newest.

| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| **Page** | The page's name and its link, with **Copy link** and **Open the live page** beside it. The store page carries the **Store page** badge; a page that has not been published carries **Not published**. Click the name or the row to open the page in the builder. |
| **Clicks** | Views of the page in the last 90 days. Single views are kept that long, and the list reads only the guide's newest ones, so on a very busy guide the count covers less time. A visitor who opens the page again soon after counts once, visitors whose browser asks not to be tracked are not counted, and views only count while the guide is published. |
| **Sales** | Every purchase ever paid on this page. A purchase that is refunded in full drops out. |
| **Actions** | The menu behind the three dots at the end of the row, below. |

The store page also counts the views and sales that belong to no other page: those of deleted pages, and those from before the guide had more than one page.

The line above the list says how many pages a guide can have. **New page** turns grey once the guide has that many.

### Create sales page

**New page** opens **Create sales page**, the same dialog as on a guide without a page. Choose how the page starts and press **Create page**; the builder then opens on the new page. Nothing is published.

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Name** | Only for a page after the store page. The name is for you: it shows in this list and in the builder. Buyers only meet it in the page's link, which is made from it. Name the page after the channel it serves. |
| **New sales page** | A new page. With **Auto-generate text and images** on, the page is filled in from your guide, below. Off, it starts empty, with the guide's name as its title. The checkbox is on when the dialog opens. |
| **Duplicate existing page** | A copy of the page you choose in **Page to copy**, which lists every page of every one of your guides, this guide first. |

The two cards, **New sales page** (**Start from your guide**) and **Duplicate existing page** (**Copy a page you made**), show once one of your guides has a page to copy. Before that the dialog only offers a new page. **About auto-generate**, the (i) beside the checkbox, sums up what it fills in.

A page after the store page gets its own link: the guide's link followed by the name. A page called Instagram bio on the guide `/yourname/iceland` lives at `/yourname/iceland-instagram-bio`. If that link is taken, a number is added to it. The link never changes, even when you rename the page.

#### What Auto-generate text and images fills in

The page is made from what the guide holds when you press **Create page**. Every word and photo is a draft you can change.

- **Photos.** Each spot's first photo, from spots that are not archived and show their photos. Wide photos come first, then your own photos before ones from a photo source such as Unsplash. The hero gets up to 5, each from another spot; the buy form gets a wide one as its **Checkout image**; the **Gallery** gets up to 9 more and is switched on when at least 3 are left for it.
- **The hero's words.** The **Title** is the guide's name. The **Headline** stays empty while the guide's store headline is at most 90 characters, so the page shows that one; a longer one gets a short line with the place instead, such as Iceland, planned spot by spot: the City or region from [Name and price](https://docs.sceniq.earth/listing/name-and-price.md), or the guide's one country. The **Bullets**, 3 to 5 short lines, name what the guide has. The first counts the spots, such as 24 spots pinned on one map, or the countries of a guide with several; the others name its itineraries, its routes, where to stay, eat and park, and the properties buyers can filter by. A guide with little of that gets general lines, such as Exact pin for every spot, to make up 3.
- ****Pitch**.** One box per collection or chapter with spots in it, up to 6, with the number of its spots and a photo of one of them. A guide with fewer than two such groups gets a box per spot instead, with the spot's categories, like Lake · Photo spot, or the first sentence of its short description.
- ****Reviews**** is on with **Buyer Reviews** once buyers have rated the guide, and off before.
- ****About the creator**** is on when your profile has a bio, social links or a video to show.
- ****FAQ**** stays off.

Sales pages show only the guide's own photos, never a spot's (see Picking images, below). So the spot photos the page uses are added to the guide's own photos as copies, with their captions and credits, and show on [Media](https://docs.sceniq.earth/guide/media.md) from then on. A photo copied once is used again by later pages, not copied twice. Like any new photo of the guide, the copies count as a change of the guide: a live guide shows **Publish** in its guide bar.

#### What a duplicate takes

The copy takes the page's blocks, words, photos and languages, its languages set not to publish (**Publish this language** off). A page from another of your guides brings its photos along: they are added to this guide's own photos as copies, with their captions and credits. Words about the other guide stay as they were, so read the copy through before you publish it.

### The row menu

| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Rename** | Opens **Rename page**: a new **Name** for this list and the builder. The link stays the same. Works on every page, the store page included. |
| **Edit** | Opens the page in the builder, like clicking its row. |
| **Duplicate** | Adds a copy of the page's draft and of its languages, named after it with "copy" at the end. The copy is not published, its languages are set not to publish, and it gets its own link. At the page limit it turns grey, like **New page**. |
| **View Analytics** | Opens the page's numbers, below. |
| **Delete** | Asks first, then **Delete page** deletes the page and its languages. Its old link forwards visitors to your creator profile from then on. This cannot be undone. On the store page **Delete** stays grey with the note **The store page cannot be deleted**. |

The dialog says so too: a deleted page goes offline, but its link can still show the old page for up to 5 minutes, the time a public page keeps a copy, before it forwards to your profile.

### Analytics

**View Analytics** opens the page's **Analytics**, titled with the page's name. Its views are those of the last 90 days, as in the list; its sales are every purchase ever paid on the page. A line under the numbers says which cover the 90 days.

| Number | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **Clicks** | Views of the page in the last 90 days, counted as in the list. |
| **Unique viewers** | Different visitors among those views. Each browser counts once. |
| **Sales** | Every purchase ever paid on the page. |
| **Conversion** | The sales of the last 90 days divided by the unique viewers of the same days, as a percentage. It reads **No data yet** while the page has had no viewers in that time. |

Your guide's numbers over time are on [Statistics](https://docs.sceniq.earth/business/statistics.md).

## The builder

A click on a page in the list opens the sales page builder: the blocks of the page on the left, a live preview on the right (below the blocks in a narrow window).

### The header

- The guide's name above the heading takes you back to the guide.
- **Sales page** is the heading. A page other than the store page shows its name beside it, or **Untitled page** when it has none.
- **Live** means the page is published. Buyers see it only while the guide is published too. **Not published** means the page has not been published yet.
- Under the heading is the page's link, with **Copy link** and **Open the live page**.

### Saving and Undo

The builder saves as you go. A moment after you stop typing, each change is saved as a draft: the header shows Saving... and then **Draft saved**. A draft never changes the live page. Only **Publish page** does.

- **Undo** takes back your last change in the language you are editing, and the draft saves again. A burst of typing counts as one change. The history lasts until you reload the page.
- A change saved elsewhere, in another tab or by an AI agent through the [Creator API](https://docs.sceniq.earth/account/ai-agents.md), is never written over. While nothing waits to be saved here, the open builder takes it over and shows it. While a change of yours waits, the builder stops instead: the header shows **Not saved**, a red line asks you to reload, and nothing you change after that is saved. Reload, and make your change again on the newer draft.
- Leaving the builder through a link, such as the sidebar, saves a change that is still waiting first.
- When a save fails for another reason, a red line says why the draft was not saved. Fix what it names and the next change saves again.
- If you leave the page while a save is still running, your browser asks you to confirm first.

### The preview

The preview shows the page as buyers will see it: the draft you are editing, in the language you are editing, with the guide's current price. The phone button shows it at phone width; **Full** shows the layout of a wide screen, scaled to fit. Blocks that are on but still empty show a grey hint, and the checkout is a stand-in: the payment form only loads on the live page.

### Block cards

Every block of the page has a card on the left. The cards start closed: click a card's title, or the arrow at its right end, to open its fields, and again to close them. The **Hero** opens every page and the **Buy form** is on every page, so their cards read **Always on**. Each other block has a switch: off takes the block off the page and closes its card, and the block keeps its content for when you switch it on again. Switching a block on opens its card.

The arrows on a card move its block up or down the page. On a wider screen you can also drag a block: by the six dots at the left of its card, or by the six dots at the top left of the block in the preview. A blue line shows where it lands. The hero always stays first, and the legal footer always closes the page. Fields marked **(optional)** can stay empty.

## The blocks

### Hero

The top of the page. Above the title, a bar shows the price and your name with your profile photo.

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Carousel** | The photos at the top, in order, up to 12. A page needs at least one to be published. **Add image** opens the **Hero carousel images** picker. Point at a photo to show **Move slide earlier**, **Move slide later** and **Remove slide**. Under the photos the page shows the credit of the photo in view while the guide's **Show credits** is on. Captions from [Media](https://docs.sceniq.earth/guide/media.md) do not show here; the **Gallery** shows them. |
| **Title** | The big title. It starts as the guide's name and can be different from it. Empty shows the guide's name in the preview, but a page with an empty title cannot be published. |
| **Headline** | A line under the title. Empty uses the **Headline** of the guide's store listing, set on [Sceniq Store](https://docs.sceniq.earth/listing/store.md). |
| **Bullets** | The promises under the headline, each with a green check. Short ones read best: a few words each. A page needs 2 to 6 filled bullets to be published. **Add bullet** adds one until there are 6; the cross beside a bullet removes it. With a single bullet, the card asks for at least one more. |
| **Show buyer count** | Shows how many people own the guide: a line under the title, and on desktop on the buy card beside the page. The line appears once someone owns the guide. |
| **Collage image** | The picture at the top of the buy card beside the page. It shows on desktop only: on a phone the page does not show it. The empty frame, **Choose collage image**, or the picture, **Change collage image**, opens the **Collage image** picker; **Remove** takes it off. |

A line under the bullets sets the last two fields apart: they are settings, not words of the page. **Show buyer count** is a setting of the guide, not of the page. It saves the moment you switch it and needs no publish. It applies to every sales page of the guide, which can take up to 5 minutes to show the change. **Undo** does not take it back.

The first hero photo of the published store page is also the picture on the guide's card until you set a thumbnail on [Name and price](https://docs.sceniq.earth/listing/name-and-price.md).

Under the title, while the **Reviews** block is on and buyers have rated the guide, the page shows the guide's average rating and its number of reviews. On desktop the buy card shows them too.

### Pitch

What is inside the guide and why it is worth it, as a row of boxes. On by default. On a phone the boxes scroll sideways; on a wide screen they sit in a grid.

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Title** | The block's heading. Empty shows **What's inside**. |
| **Description** | A line under the heading. |
| **Image crop** | One shape for every box picture: **3:2** wide, **1:1** square or **4:5** portrait, the default. |
| **Boxes** | The boxes, up to 24. **Add box** adds one at the end; the cross at the right of a box removes it. |

Each box has:

- A picture: the frame, **Choose box image** or **Change box image**, opens the **Box image** picker; the small cross on the frame's corner removes the picture.
- An emoji (optional): without a picture it fills the tinted tile at the top of the box, with a picture it stands before the box's title. A box with neither shows an icon picked from the words of its title.
- A title: every box needs one to be published.
- A description (optional): one or two sentences under the title.

While **Pitch** is on, a page needs at least one box to be published.

### Reviews

Reviews under the pitch, on by default.

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Title** | The block's heading. Empty uses the source's own: **Platform Reviews**, **Buyer Reviews** or **What people say**. |
| **Source** | Where the review cards come from, below. |

| Source | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **Platform Reviews** | Testimonials Sceniq selects and publishes. Every guide that uses this source shows the same ones. |
| **Buyer Reviews** | Reviews your buyers left on the guide: the newest ones with text, from buyers who still own the guide, with their name, stars and words. A guide that is not published, or has no such reviews yet, shows none: on the live page the block stays hidden, and the builder's preview says they appear once collected. The rating under the page title counts the same buyers. |
| **Import Reviews** | Reviews you type in yourself, under **Your own reviews**. New pages start with this source. |

**Your own reviews** holds up to 12 reviews. **Add review** adds one, set to five stars and Instagram. Each review has:

- An avatar: the round frame, **Choose reviewer avatar** or **Change reviewer avatar**, opens the **Reviewer avatar** picker, and **Remove avatar** under the review takes it off. Without one, the card shows the first letter of the reviewer's name.
- A name. Every review needs one to be published.
- Stars: **No stars**, or whole stars from 1 **star** to 5 **stars**.
- The quote: what they said. Every review needs one to be published. A long quote folds on the page and opens with a click.
- **Add social profile** (optional) opens the reviewer's account below the quote: the platform (Instagram, TikTok or YouTube), the @handle and followers. The card shows the handle as a link to the profile, and the link it makes shows under the fields. Followers is a number you type, shown after the handle in short form, such as 12K; nothing is fetched. **Remove social profile** clears the handle and the followers and closes the fields. A review that has a handle or followers shows its fields open.
- On the right, arrows move the review up or down and the cross removes it.

While **Reviews** is on with **Import Reviews**, a page needs at least one review to be published. Your own reviews are not translated: every language shows them as you typed them.

The rating on the guide's card in the store and on your profile follows **Show reviews** on [Sceniq Store](https://docs.sceniq.earth/listing/store.md), not this block.

### Gallery

More photos, in a carousel buyers swipe through. Off by default.

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Title** | The block's heading. Empty shows **From the field**. |
| **Description** | A line under the heading. |
| **Slides** | The photos, up to 48. **Add image** opens the **Gallery images** picker; the arrows and the cross on a photo work as in the hero. Each photo shows its credit while the guide's **Show credits** is on. Its caption from [Media](https://docs.sceniq.earth/guide/media.md) is not shown for now. |

While **Gallery** is on, a page needs at least one photo to be published.

### About the creator

Who made the guide, under the heading **About me**: your profile photo, a text, your social links and a video. On by default.

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Description override** | The text. Left empty, the block shows no text, as the line under the field says. [Profile](https://docs.sceniq.earth/account/profile.md) has no field for a bio; only an account that already carries one uses it here, and then the empty field shows it in grey. |
| **Social links** | Your accounts. With none here, the block shows the social links of your profile. **Add link** adds a row: the **Platform** (Instagram, TikTok or YouTube) and the @handle. The link the handle makes shows under the row; **Remove social link** removes the row. |
| **Intro video** | A video under the text. Pick the **Video provider**, **YouTube** or **Vimeo**, then type the video's ID: only the ID, never an embed code. For `youtube.com/watch?v=abc123` the ID is `abc123`. **Video caption** adds a line under the video. **None** removes it. |

On the page each social link is the platform's small app icon under the text, linked to the profile; the handle shows when a visitor points at it. A Vimeo video loads only when the visitor presses play.

**Uploaded** appears in **Video provider** only on a page that already holds an uploaded video. The studio has no video upload of its own.

While **About the creator** is on, a page needs something to show to be published: a text, social links or a video from this block, or the social links of your profile.

### Buy form

The checkout. It is on every page, and the arrows move it like any block. The price comes from [Name and price](https://docs.sceniq.earth/listing/name-and-price.md).

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Purchase button text** | The words on every buy button of the page, and the heading above the checkout. Empty reads **Get the guide**, unless a button text was set for the guide through the [Creator API](https://docs.sceniq.earth/account/ai-agents.md). Each language can have its own. |
| **Reassurance text** | A short line buyers read just before they pay. With a checkout image it sits on the image's bottom edge; without one, above the checkout. |
| **Checkout image** | A wide photo, cut to 3:2, above the checkout. **Choose checkout image** or **Change checkout image** opens the **Checkout image** picker; **Remove** takes it off. |

Every buy button on the page leads to the checkout. On a phone, once a visitor scrolls past the hero, a bar with the button and the price stays at the bottom of the screen until the checkout comes into view. On a wide screen, a buy card with the guide's name, its price and the button stays beside the page.

### FAQ

Questions buyers ask before they pay, with your answers. Off by default.

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Title** | The block's heading. Empty shows **Common questions**. |
| **Questions** | Up to 12. **Add question** adds one. Each has a question and an answer; the arrows move it and the cross removes it. On the page a question opens to show its answer. |

While **FAQ** is on, a page needs at least one question to be published, and every question needs its answer.

### Picking images

Each image button opens a picker with the guide's own images: the ones uploaded with **Upload images** on the guide's [Media](https://docs.sceniq.earth/guide/media.md) page, and the copies a page made with **Auto-generate text and images** or copied from another guide added. Spot and collection photos are never offered: buyers pay for them, so sales pages do not show them. With no such images yet, the picker says **No sales page images yet** and points you to Media.

- The **Collage image**, **Box image**, **Reviewer avatar** and **Checkout image** pickers take one image and close when you pick it.
- The **Hero carousel images** and **Gallery images** pickers take several. Click an image to add it and again to remove it; images join in the order you click them, and the form is where you fine-tune the order. **Done** closes the picker.

If you delete an image on Media that a page uses, its frame turns empty in the builder. Remove it there, with the cross or **Remove**: until you do, your next changes do not save and the page cannot be published. The live page simply stops showing the deleted image.

## Languages

English is every page's base. You can add translations, each a version of the same page with its own text.

### Adding a language

The pills at the top of the blocks switch between languages: **EN** for English, then one pill per translation. **Add language** offers DE, FR, IT and ES, and **Custom code** for any other language: type its code in **Custom two-letter language code** and press **Add**. The new language starts as a copy of the current English draft, its switch **Publish this language** off, and the builder switches to it.

### Editing a translation

In a translation you change text only. A note at the top says so: Structure and images are shared across languages. Edit them in English.

- You can change: the hero's title, headline and bullets; the pitch's heading, description and box texts; the reviews heading; the gallery's heading and description; the About text and the video caption; the button text and the reassurance text; the FAQ's title, questions and answers.
- Only English changes: the images, the blocks' switches and order, adding or removing bullets, boxes, reviews and questions, the review source, your own reviews, the box emoji, the social links, the video and the image crop.

### Publish this language

The switch decides whether the language goes out with the next **Publish page**. On: it publishes with English. Off: it stays out, and if it is live, the next publish takes it off the live page. Under **Publish page** the header lists what a publish sends, for example **Publishes EN + DE**.

### Re-sync from English

Each time you change something only English changes (a photo, a block's switch or place, a bullet, box, review or question added or removed), every translation that publishes has to follow, or **Publish page** is refused with a message that names the language. **Re-sync from English** asks first, then **Re-sync** rebuilds the translation on the current English draft:

- the structure, images and block settings become those of English;
- the text you translated stays where it still fits: bullets, boxes and questions by their place, captions by their photo;
- anything new shows the English text until you translate it.

A re-sync leaves the live page and the **Publish this language** switch as they are.

### Removing a language

The cross on a language's pill asks first, then **Remove** deletes the translation's draft and its published copy. The language leaves the live page without a publish; English stays untouched.

### What buyers see

A translation lives at the page's link followed by its code, such as `/yourname/iceland/de`. While more than one language is live, small pills above the hero switch between them.

Buyers buy on the English page. On a translated page every buy button leads to a note that sends the buyer to the English page, where the checkout and the legal text are in English.

## Publish page

**Publish page** saves anything still waiting, checks the page and makes its draft the live page, with every translation that is set to publish. An AI agent working through the [Creator API](https://docs.sceniq.earth/account/ai-agents.md) can edit a draft, but publishing a sales page stays with you in the studio.

### What stops a publish

A publish checks the page in this order and stops at the first step that fails. The red line under the button says why.

- **The creator agreement.** If it changed and you have not accepted it yet, nothing publishes. The banner at the top of the studio has **Accept the current agreement**.
- **Limits and the banned phrase.** A block or a text over its limit, or the banned phrase below, each stop the publish on their own. They stop the draft from saving too, so they usually show first, in the red line under the header. A photo deleted from the guide is not one of them: the page loses it at once ([Media](https://docs.sceniq.earth/guide/media.md#deleting-a-photo)).
- **The English page.** The red line lists all of its gaps at once, from the list below.
- **Translations set to publish.** They are checked last, one at a time. The red line names the first one, by its language code, that no longer has the English structure or has one of the gaps below.

The gaps a page can have:

- the hero has no photo, or its title is empty;
- the hero has fewer than 2 or more than 6 bullets, or an empty one;
- **Pitch** is on without boxes, or a box has no title;
- **Gallery** is on without photos;
- **Reviews** is on with **Import Reviews** and no reviews, or a review has no name or no quote;
- **FAQ** is on without questions, or a question lacks its question or its answer;
- **About the creator** is on with nothing to show.

The builder refuses to save one banned phrase that promises updates; other wordings save. A sales page must still never promise buyers updates, in any words: see the [content rules](https://docs.sceniq.earth/policies/content.md).

### After a publish

- While the page is not live yet, a note says so: This page is not live yet. Publish when the draft is ready.
- Right after a publish, a note says when the page shows it. If the guide is published, the link can take up to 5 minutes to show the new version. If the guide is not published yet, the page goes online when you publish the guide.
- When the draft differs from the live page, an amber note names what waits: the English page, a translation, or a translation the next publish takes offline. The live page keeps the last published version until you publish again.

A page of a guide that is in the Sceniq Store stays in the store when you publish it.

### Taking a page offline

The studio has no button to take a single published page offline, and none to go back to an earlier published version. To take a page down:

- delete it from the list, if it is not the store page;
- or archive the guide with [Archive guide](https://docs.sceniq.earth/listing/name-and-price.md#archive): every sales page of the guide goes offline, and visitors land on your creator profile.

## Where pages are online

A page is online at its link only while both the page and the guide are published. Before that, and once a page is deleted or the guide archived, its link forwards visitors to your creator profile.

- The store page is what the store, your profile and the guide bar link to. Search engines list it only while the guide is in the [Sceniq Store](https://docs.sceniq.earth/listing/store.md).
- Other pages are only for the links you share. They never show in the store, and search engines are pointed to the store page instead.

Each page counts its own clicks and sales, so you can see which link sells.

## The example guide

Every creator also sees a read-only example guide. Its sales pages open to look at: the list shows no numbers and no actions, and the builder shows each block with nothing that can be changed.

## Sales page not found

The builder shows **Sales page not found** when its link points to a page that does not exist or belongs to another creator, for example a page you deleted. Go back to the guide's Sales pages list to open a page that exists.
